People that bet on management were the unfortunate ones who got into this years ago and thought management were able to ramp up Itafos with the working capital that kept getting pumped in (...and there was a lot of smart money in there too).
Today, I'm betting on Deutsche Bank to align the strategic review process with the interests of shareholders.
Under a JV / refinacing outcome, I still question the company's ability to ramp up operations and generate positive cash flows. I'm more than happy to get out and leave money on the table at the sign of positive news.
But, I could be all wrong. Maybe no deals get done and they go into receivership. Don't bet the barn on this one!
