Give Pat time

Give Pat timeI'm on board with "lets keep a lid on things" approach.  Any info prior to signed agreement would damage the deal and might inflate the cost.  Even with higher oil prices there still sems to be few of overlevaraged small juniour producers that are undervalued, some held in private hands.  They are too small for bigger companies to go after and the balance sheets are loaded with debt.  So there is an opportunity out there.  I would hate to rush a good thing.  I would be for a cash/share purchase combo to preserve part of the cash.  Never hurts.

On MVP I'll recycle what I said a few weeks back.  I wonder if the feds will make it into an election related project to gain support in the north and locally in Alberta.  I thought I was wrong in my original thinking that we will not see a decision till spring but it seems that CBC was not correct on the cabined decision timeline so I'm leaning back to my original spring decision by the cabinet.
