Company's bid for the parcel in the CMV was not suProbably a good thing. IT is better to get behind Montana play for now. It is not like lack of exposure to the CMV is the problem for IFR.
11 licenses covering 897,890 hectares (2,218,735 acres) located in theCentral Mackenzie Valley ("CMV") Northwest Territories for combinedwork commitments of $534 million. Proponents of the Mackenzie Valleygas pipeline were awarded six licenses comprised of Shell CanadaLimited (3 licenses), Imperial Oil Resources Ventures Limited (2licenses) and ConocoPhilips Canada Resources Corp. (1 license). HuskyOil Operations Limited was awarded 2 licenses for a work commitment of$366 million. Looks like MGM was in on three parcels.
This should get things moving on pipeline by the big players while IFR can get active on near term oil prospects.
