Oil-Shales drove the interest - IMO

Oil-Shales drove the interest - IMOOnehafnorse,
I didn't say MVP wasn't important.  In fact I think it's a nation-building project;.... all for it without giving it all away to ExxonMobil (not my favorite company for a bunch of reasons). The associated gas from the oil-shale could be used in the treaters and anything left over well, that could be...a good question.... what to do with it.

I'm looking at the Enbridge line and it's half full at best capacity.  Maybe Tulita and all the new hotels run by the local aboriginals to warm all those hard working service-company and pipelining employees.  Maybe I'm reading too much between the lines, but MGM was at one time a almost pure gas play.  Now they say liquids.... and to me that not gas.... And it's also not oil.  The NWT released a slough of geological / technical reports that evaluated the carbon-rich shales and Husky et al. nail a big reservoir of what....liquids rich gas at Stewart Lake.  The Bakken-like geo model is being applied to the rest of  North America and behold some of the best rock is in and around Norman Wells and Tulita.

We'll just have to watch and see if one of the new-lease owners announce an exploration program and what the target is.  Husky has the most to invest at just over $70,000,000/year (average) work commitment over five years.  We'll see if ConocoPhillips says anything.  It may be material to Husky's annual  reporting requirements for work commitments but I doubt it would be material to ConocoPhillips.

If only Jedd still had a donkey up in those parts...but his crystal ball was broken last time IFR had a rig in the area.

I don't mind being wrong as long as one of use is right.  Hopefully we're both right!

Regards,
