Michael, I cringed when I read your reply. You are so clueless as to how much you are embarrassing yourself. Everything for you is black and white (which everything is not).

Once again, you are naively displaying why you are such a failure. Do you know the definition of "variable"? Do you know that it is not about choosing (1) or (2)? You have demonstrated quite clearly that you really should NOT be doing your own investing.

Your imaginary ideal world does not exist. As much as you would like there to be an ideal and ethical world to make life easier for the simple folk, it does not exist. You work with the variables at hand. Not with the ones you wish existed. If the world was as you wish for it to be, P/E would be the prime calculator for the value of a company and speculation would not exist. Explain to me, how that would even work. I would love to hear this.

Do you eat meat Michael? You murderer... Do you drive a car? You evil person... Do you drink coffee? Do you know how the coffee trade works and how much the farmers suffer in South America because of the way it is such a monopolized commodity (non-fair trade coffee)? I eat meat, I drive a car, I just happen to not drink coffee because my brain can't handle any more neurons firing, lest I transcend to overwhelming levels of consciousness which would raise me too high above humanity... I enjoy the company of other humans. They provide suitable entertainment value. Just sayin'.

So are you really all that much more ethical than I? (I'm willing to bet that I do a lot more for the improvement of the health of this world in a month, than you will ever do in your whole life).
