RE:RE:Challenge >>>>The whole idea of the yapper, the business model is just so utterly ridiculous. When you look across the pantheon of social media, most new tech period, it's founded in innovation, typically driven by young entrepreneurs.
Look at the hot new play, yik yak. Couple of twenty something kids who had an idea on how to build a chat like snapchat. Started around the time the yapper launched. Now it's worth hundreds of millions with a large user base that is growing leaps and bounds.
Then look at the yapper. Me too ideas. Which is bad. But the real issue is based on finances. Look at the massive debt they have racked up already. They run the company like it had money. Like some old guys who want to be all startup-y but need to have the big salaries and perks. In other words the exact opposite of what innovation is all about in the tech world. I could also mention the inability of the yapper to attract any venture capital. But why bother. It would imply that there might be a VC dumb enough to want to fund a chat board. A chat board, I still chuckle about that.
Hello 1995. You look terrific!!!!!
