Farm I heard they had massive flooding in that part of the world, road wash outs and such, I don't know if it affected the mine or not, but record snow fall and rain and now a thaw, I think its going to be a wile.

Zackra  The mine area does not get alot of snow less than 2 feet a year jmho , also long way to Yellowstone witch is about 200 mile south east   jmho

thanks farm, my brother has a friend in cook city MT and i guess they are having a lot of problems in that area, but conditions can change in a few miles, but thanks for the information I will be looking to buy back in soon I sold last dec because the winter was to be harsh and I don't like shiping to brazil, I think thats nutz! we will see what managment does but they need to come up with

Zackra  Shipping by rail in large containers is cheap , my guess would be shipped to Gulf coast and put on container ship

The BFS underestimates the transport costs severely. The study puts concentrate logistics cost at $6.98 $US a MT milled. The concentrate will be bagged in one tonne bags, with 18 bags being loaded into  a 20 foot container.   So we truck it to the rail head, likely Challis  some 60 miles away, move it some 1750 lies to the gulf coast, load it on a ship for a 1 week or more trip to

Upon further review, 26 miles from mine site to Salmon, and nearest railroad is at Dubois Idaho, about 100 miles south of Salmon, so likely a 3 to 4 hour trip for a container from mine to railhead.  In reviewing the BFS, it may be that the $6.98 number is for each tonne of ore mined, not for concentrate shipped.  this would still only result in a container price of 8 or 9 times higher

Do they charge for loading and unloading? truck to rail, rail to boat, boat to truck or rail to refiner, brazil, and back, there must be a charge through the panama canal? and the price of cobal has droped, this is not a good situation, Is there some where in canada they can refine?

Lots of people want to own it.  They have Freeport Cobalt in Finland with quarterly revenues of over $100 million US$.  They have the only cobalt mine in the United states ready to start producing cobalt, copper and gold concentrates within the net 3 months.  And they a fully build refinery in Sao Miguel Paulista refinery in Brazil presently undergoing a bankable feasibility study
