1. Another exploration play backed to perform was dual-listed Kincora Copper (ASX:KCC), which is currently exploring for porphyry copper and epithermal gold in the Lachlan Fold Belt.

   Dr Baker said the Kincora board’s inclusion of John Holliday, a former Newcrest exploration manager with a significant track record in the region, should be a positive sign for investors.

   “John was involved in pulling together the Cadia project in the very early days,” Dr Baker said.

   “He and his team can take direct responsibility for the discovery of Ridgeway – the project maker at Cadia – as well as the Marsden porphyry copper deposit currently in the hands of Evolution.”

   Fresh off a $10 million raising, Dr Baker expects Kincora to hit the ground running in search of Cadia lookalikes.

Nice. Savvy traders/investors buying up the ultra cheap shares to $0.30 off the open on the ASX. This price level, to me, represents more of a true ground zero for this stock. Assay news flows are imminent this week you would think after nothing last week and such a long wait. If history is any guide with KCC...the longer it takes them to release assay results the lower your expectations should

I agree there was definitely some odd market manipulation going on to surpress the price going into that IPO. Don't really want to try and delve into the mechanics. But, post-IPO I can't see any reason/edge left to keep shares on the TSX surpressed. There's some small arbitrage play on the spread between the two exchanges as they won't always trade perfectly in-line from each day

The market maker, (Mackie), certainly isn't the seller. In fact they have been buyers most of the way. I'm not sure what to make of these National Bank transactions. Multiple tiny trades on both sides of the ledger with the odd bigger quantity on the sell side to make sure the price doesn't run too high. Today is a classic example.
