Cal Everett, President & CEO

Cal is the co-founder of Axemen, a geologist with over 14 years of surface and underground exploration experience with senior mining companies in North America. During his career his focus has been on mesothermal gold, epithermal gold and porphyry-diatreme related gold systems, porphyry copper–gold, porphyry molybdenum, volcanogenic massive sulphide, sedex lead–zinc and uranium. He changed to the financial sector in 1990, with 12 years focused on resource equities at BMO – Nesbitt Burns, and 7 years in senior resources institutional sales at PI Financial Corp. Cal has raised in excess of $500 million directly and participated in excess of $1 billion of equity financings over the last 5 years.


Dino Minicucci  

Dino Minicucci, Managing Director

Dino is a co-founder of Axemen and a former successful investment advisor with 25 years of experience. Dino was consistently one of the top-performing investment advisors at PI Financial both in revenue and book size. During his extensive career, Dino specialized in advising and raising capital for private companies from early-stage development to IPO and secondary financings. He also focused on acquisitions, RTOs and mergers.


Craig A. Roberts  

Craig A. Roberts, P.Eng, Managing Director

Craig is a Professional Engineer with substantial hands-on experience in the mining industry. His background includes six years in mine operations and management, followed by eight years with Fluor Corporation working on mining feasibility studies worldwide. For the last 12 years he has held senior investment banking positions at National Bank Financial and PI Financial, including key roles in raising over $3 billion of financing and advising on numerous merger and acquisition transactions for senior, intermediate, and junior mining companies. During Craig’s career, he’s served on a variety of boards and committees including as Chairman of the Mineral Economics Society of the CIM and as a member of the CIMVal Committee mandated with establishing standards for valuing mining projects in Canada intended for adoption by Canadian securities commissions. Craig has a degree in Mining Engineering from the University of British Columbia and an M.Phil. in Management Studies from Oxford University.


Harj Thind  

Harj Thind, Chief Compliance Officer

Harj began his career in the securities industry working at the Vancouver Stock Exchange. After a successful career at the exchange, he moved over to PI Financial where he spent 9 years on the institutional desk. He continued to rise through the ranks at PI, where he finally landed as a registered investment advisor in Canada and the US. A stickler for detail, and very knowledgeable when it comes to the finer points of investment capital and advice, Harj is in charge of ensuring that all of Axemen’s activities are done by the book, and compliant.
