Great article on Kodiak’s MPD property history

KDK's MPD property had more historic work done than I thought. This article just came out yesterday. Apparently there was a bulk sample taken from MPD in 1929 that graded 5.78%

There has been a lot of previous work especially drilling. I think a deal is cooking on the Kaizen property directly adjoining KDK to the north. It got spinned into a privco that my gut says is going to turn up in KDK

Kaizen drilled there 10 years ago. Only about 2000 m in shallow holes, over 800m of strike length. Results were ok; there's definitely mineralization there. Is this just your gut feeling, or have you heard something from someone? And who owns the Privco now? When did they get the property?

Reading the assessment report filed on that program more drilling is warranted on the Kaizen ground while hard to see more drilling on KDKs package. 0.2% Cu at 3-400 meters does nothing to move the needle and above 200 M had been pincushioned. Kelly Funk has an interesting property extended on that northerly trend. He wants a fortune but KDK might as well drill and kill the area while they are set ...more

That's interesting. I can't agree with you on KDK not having anything else to drill. They just added a huge chunk of  ground at MPD South last year, and the first few holes hit long stretches of mineralization, and connected different areas. Copper Porphyries of this type are large and require a lot of drilling. Plus, it looks like they might be able to connect Gate to Beyer which ...more
