RE: RE: GqokliIt's Gqokli. Gcokli is a typo. It refers to a famous battle that was fought by the Zulu King Shaka. He was outmanned, and so his enemies thought, outmaneuvered as well. He placed his entire army on a hill (Gqokli Hill) while his enemies surrounded him, and rushed in. This caused congestion, which his soldiers exploited by rushing in and stabbing the enemies mercilessly.
You see, the Zulus had stabbing spears (a short haft with a big blade) while the enemies ( the Ndwandwe ) only had throwing spears, which means they were unsuited to close combat. Finally the Ndwandwe decided on a mass charge up one side of Gqokli Hill, with another large force on the other side of the hill, to pick off the scattered Zulus.
It was a textbook solution to an intractable military problem. But when the attacking force went up that one side of the hill, Shaka let loose fresh troops which he had hidden on the top of the hill. These fresh troops encircled and massacred the oncoming Ndwandwe, and Shaka won the day.
So moral is this : Even if you're doing everything right, things can still go Gqokli for you. And I think KNE is a Gqokli stock. And sooner or later some slimy short-seller will say the same thing. I'll be back here when that happens.
