Kaizen Wins Appeal and Receives Special Costs

Kaizen Wins Appeal and Receives Special CostsKaizen has not only won the lawsuit filed against them by AM Gold (over the Pinaya property) but after AM Gold appealed the decision the judge ruled in Kaizen's favour. The judge has also awarded Kaizen "special costs". When a judge orders the losing side to pay special costs, it usually reflects bad behaviour during or before the trial. In the case of AM Gold, the judge was particularly critical of the company's principal, John Fiorino. He testified at length during the trial, pursuing claims of fraud that were "wholly without foundation." This should gives us more money in the bank seeing as the trial has been going on for six years and 27 days of actually trial.
Cheers
