I always use the volume on the graphs . It tells me just how much interest there is in the stock . Also on the negative side . Cheers , I'm in at .11 on this one

I've always used volume. Are you talking volume or volume by price. With volume by price, the volume bars run horizontal and show the volume traded at each price for the time period of the chart instead of how much volume traded at each candle. I run both.

I use StockCharts.com. If you go to that site, volume by price can be found under overlays (I set opacity to 0.1). Although not perfect, it can show what price it acting as a hurdle to get through and once though the smaller peaks show what price may prove to be resistance. I'm now using it as a secondary indicator like regular volume. It's nice when it lines up with things on your ...more
