(LBC.v Partners with Anglo Asian Mining

The transition to clean energy is expected to create millions of new jobs globally and increase the demand for copper.

Libero Copper and Gold Corp. (LBC.v LBCMF) is partnering with its largest shareholder, Anglo Asian Mining Plc (AAZ), to work on the design, engineering, and financial modeling of the Mocoa project in Colombia.

The companies will focus on low-impact underground mining methods to minimize the project's environmental footprint.

The Mocoa project is the largest copper resource in Colombia and has the potential to be larger than currently defined according to StreetWise Reports.

The project aims to meet the growing demand for copper in renewable energy and electric vehicle industries. The Colombian government's commitment to industrialization and tackling climate change aligns with LBC's objectives for the project.
