This was my e mail to Don Myers and his reply on May 31st. Notice how Don also uses the word Proprietary for saleable product as well.

Hi Don,

I hope all is well.

I was just wondering if Cypress has looked at producing  "proof of concept" Lithium Carbonate from there claystone ?

Taking say 100 lbs of the clay and refining it through the dilute acid process and then turning it to battery grade would prove to the market the Lithium is not just extractable, but can be brought to a saleable commodity.

I would appreciate your thoughts.

Thanks Garry

Hi Garry,

The important work was always extracting the Li from the claystone. Right now we are at 85% in 4 to 8 hours using a weak acid/water solution. We are working to achieve over 90%. Once in leach solution, we are proposing to separate and process using mostly existing technology and some proprietary when it comes to processing into saleable product.

We have already shown in lab that we can turn leach solution into lithium carbonate. We have discussed a possible 50 tonne per day pilot prior to building out large scale.

Further metallurgical info will be contained in RE when filed next week. The complete process with preliminary economics will be contained in PEA expected early August.
