I will gladly admit that this is the biggest hint that NDAs do exist that I have seen or heard.
I am talking about when Bill says "Right" when Gerardo is talking about Fight Club. This occurs at the 4 minute mark of the interview. If it is mentioned elsewhere, I missed it, and please so advise me.
Bill never says the words "NDA" as far as I can tell, but he lets them sort of be put into his mouth. He also does not deny, or correct Gerardo when this little Fight Club blurb is over.
He certainly lets us think that Gerardo is correct. That undermines my position greatly.
I feel strongly that these interviews are well scripted ahead of time, Gerardo sort of alludes to that. (After all, the company would not agree to the interview unless they were assured that it would be to their liking. I would guess that they are paying Gerardo for the publicity, not sure of that, though, but probably.)
I never hear Bill say the words, "NDA." That omission strikes me as intentional, but I'm probably paranoid on the issue. Please correct me if I missed it.
After this interview, my takeaway is this: The company wants us to think that there are NDSs, but also wants to be in a position where they can say, "Our representatives never said we had NDAs." Not sure why, the reasons can be good or bad.
Feel free to disagree, I'll happily admit you have a strong position. Mine is admittedly weak.
