Ford to have all-electric F-150 pickup & van by mid-2022

The two-year time frame is the most detailed the company has given regarding the vehicles, which will be part of what are expected to be crowded segments. General MotorsTesla and start-ups such as Rivian and Nikola are expected to have electric vehicles in one or both segments by then or shortly after.

LG supplies batteries to GM/Volkswagen in the US. They have plans to build a second US plant in 2022. Pretty sure LG has enough lithium for the time being. Cypress alone will produce enough lithium annually for ~1/4 million vehicles? Tariffs on batteries is only 7.5%, what about carbonate or hydroxide?

*7.5% on Chinese imports. I assume Chinese LCE/LiOH is a similar amount. General rate is 3.7% for LCE/LiOH, unless exempt.
