So, now we're in the research business?? I have no issue with research - but what does that mean for our Pilot Plant and advancing lithium extraction?  How about an announcemernt on the Pilot Plant!!  This is a 'Fluff' news release and means nothing IMO.

(“Cypress” or “the Company”), developer of a world class lithium claystone deposit in Nevada, announced today, the Company, as an industrial partner with several high tech research entities, has been encouraged along with its partners in full project proposal submissions to the Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE).

reads to me like a setback . possibly potential partners not happy with the current proposed extraction and processing methodology, economics not good enough . think we will drift here for a while yet, read this statement : Todd S Fayram, Chief Metallurgist for Cypress. That's sounds right, jicoop. And the news release also says that these studies will take 3 years. That sounds like a major step backwards and that their acid leaching process is not so good or economical after all. This makes me think that there is not going to be a pilot plant for about 3 years. If true, SP will slump, all else being equal and if they have no other irons in the fire.

Yes, bit worrisome. Why build pilot plant to confirm PFS when they're going to spend 3 years researching different extraction/processing? Won't give major confidence to spend half a billion if process is in question. Pumpers have confirmation bias!

I would argue that Bill said in July it would be last quarter, maybe October for pilot plant announcements. The research proposals are needed to secure free government funding to develop the processes for their pilot plant. All is on track and on schedule and the pilot plant announcement in October will involve aspects of new, sustainable, and environmentally friendly new lithium recovery
