The Chart

Painful to look at now but we have not broken the major up trend line that began on Dec 18 when we smashed up through 60 cents.  We are sitting right on that line right now, next couple days will be important.

Any of our technical people here have an opinion?  Looks like buy time but would appreciate if any of you have a more detailed outlook on the chart.

Best,

Bob

Hey Bob, I'm on the fence right now, have a friend who's been watching this runup and begging me to give him the buy signal, but just not sure we have cratered yet, maybe we may get down to $1.20 before the next leg up. Other Lithium plays did the same thing today, look at RCK and NRM , both posted gains last few days, then boom, significant retracement. Will see the short count on CYP ...more

Coop, Hey thanks for the opinion, see where she opens in the morning I guess.  I totally agree that there was some leveage, margin in this, and that has played a big role in the crater we have had.  Good old margin calls, used to play that way but never again, like lots of things I used to do but do not anymore. I have no issue with discussing claims in the Clayton Coop.  I have ...more

Hi Bob, that was good of you to clear that up, out in the open not that you were hiding something . In hindsight smart money sold yesterday morning before the the ship started to take on water.. Doesn't matter who you are you can't be happy with the last 2 days of trading. Dont blame management as they too would probably like to know. Then it will be hard grind back, but was a good ride up. ...more

Thanks Slyder, The truth about ourselves is what it is.  I have no inside information, and if I did I am smart enough now to not to use it, but the point is meaningless as I want none and have none.  My position is only about the the business over the long term.  No smart money here, I took on the chin same as the rest of us.  We all here together represent a huge holding of ...more

Really? They sure seem to lack your sophistication and think they can double production and process clay without a railroad. You gotta feel sorry for them lacking your expertise. Then there's this:  Charlotte, North Carolina-based company Albemarle will invest between $30 million to $50 million this year to expand the capacity of its Silver Peak plant to produce lithium. The move ...more

Very interesting comments. Can you paste a link that would show some architecture plans of the underground area or something like that? That said, if National Security benefits of Lithium come in play, I am sure Civil Engineers will come up with a simple, although maybe expensive solution. I would not worry too much about thirty but thanks for the great insight!!

Well, how else can you react when he tells you that Albemarle's present operation can't be "commercially viable" because there is no railroad? What makes his fake news even worse if the fact that Albemarle is planning on doubling brine production and explore processing clay on top of it. All with no railroad. Then there is the fact that you ship much more lithium per ton of ...more
