RE: RE: RE: RE: Magnificent News..Plant Design ComI think what sansp was trying to say is that this is no longer a concept play but a realization of the concept , with deliverable products at a commercial scale that now appears to be profitable and technically doable.

Its clear that the 2 years data from the pilot refinery have provided a wealth of data on the best processes and configurations of extraction routes.
Those data have been considered sufficient to have proceeded to and completed the initial enginering  design of the first commercial biorefinery capable of  profitably producing subtantive and diverfsified products of economic value.
Producing biofuel from forest wastes is not rocket science, but doing so efficiently is.
Likewise, substantial lignin byproducts are produced as part of this process.

Those, at best, are now being burned to bring down energy costs.
Lignol has developed  the first commecial derivative from this lignin waste product and have several more in the advanced stages of testing.

They are already looking for partners to take the new lignin adhesive technology to commercial production

And, given the results of a full-scale enginering design , are seeking partners to build the first commercial refinery.
In the meantime, they continue to experiment with different enzyme and chemical extractants as well as their lignin derivative product lines.

In short, and also considering their patent advancements, Lignol has moved out of the concept stage and have advanced their applied production research to the point that commercial production  can considerd to be be economically viable and implementable in the near future.
