RE:FYINot that I am not on the MJ train, obviously I am investing tens of thousands in this sector, but opiate based narcotics are much more appropriate for the general population IMO.

While I don't deny that CBD has impressive effects ranging in a wide variety of uses all over the body for many types of ailments the sad thing is just how psychoactive THC is. It is not uncommon for people to take opiate narcotics and function normally throughout the day or at work since the degree of change in mentation is vastly less than that of THC. Speaking from experience the pain control from THC is far better than opiate based narcotics in extreme acute pain but then you're high as a kite and pain free.. as opposed to almost pain free and mentally appropriate.

Unfortunate really that there is no way to make THC bind only to the parietal lobe for pain reduction. If someone could somehow design a way to block THC receptors in the cortex to stop the psychoactive effects it would be a different story.
