Game plan

I believe Walter is being very prudent with his money. Spending it on moving the project forward by drilling and deciding on how big a mill to put in place depending on drilling results. Smaller results, smaller mill, bigger results bigger mill. Either way a mill goes in and revenue flows which pays upfront for future drilling and expansion. Share price moves in unison. Even if a small mill might seem wasteful remember that profit allows drilling without having to go to the market for funding diluting the shares. May be longer but more profitable in the long run and also makes for better negotiating when you can tell a prospective buyer that they must pay more for a working profitable mine with more ounces drilled under their belt.

Sure while they enjoy reitremnet in Fiji and have no interest in getting the job done

Think about who is on board with lio. One of the best geologists in the world who specializes in this type of ore actually after inspecting the drill cores asked to be allowed to be a part of this project. A man who can write his own ticket anywhere with any company in the world. That should speak volumes about the professional opinion of what this project will probably become. Now six drills ...more

Yes, Fiji can be a nice place to retire if you enjoy living in gated communities; for me there is just too much disparity in that society. I still feel that Wally (as grate as he may be) is not properly conveying an action plan for LIO to move forward. All this talk about the grate potential/discovery and still no tangible plan of action. Rather neglectful towards shareholders, which  may ...more

Six drills bought and turning?  Hire and bring on board one of the best geoligists for this kind of strata? All permits in place to mine? Engineering and building basic cement pads for foundations? Build their own working lab for fast turn around? These are hobby farm decisions? Give your head a shake.

....I forgot to mention that share price of LIO on Aug.25, 2016 was  $1.17 and on April 16, 2021 was a wooooping $1.27/share. G37

Again the difference form august 25/2016 and april 19/2021**************************** Six drills bought and turning?  Hire and bring on board one of the best geoligists for this kind of strata? All permits in place to mine? Engineering and building basic cement pads for foundations? Build their own working lab for fast turn around? These are hobby farm decisions? Give your head a shake.

goodheart - you forgot that he consolidated the whole area. I forget how much bigger the land package is now but it's substantial.

Don't be so harsh on living in Fiji. I have been there several times and know several ex-pats that live there not in gated communities. Fiji is not PNG, I have also been there. In PNG you don't go outside your gates without guards. I agree that things seem to be going rather slowly with this company. I would like to see a small and expandable mill put in to work the near surface material ...more

rite on. why not, just mine it ? they know there is plenty of gold there, even if we drill until 2025, with SIX rigs , and keep rising the resource number, why don't we just start mining it ? a small operation would bring in cash flow. What are we trying to achieve with the current drill program ? a 10 million ounce resource ?

Not sure what their long term plan is, I'm thinking they are open depending on how things unfold.  But, I've been under the impression that they are proving up a mineable resource with the intension of selling.

I do not understand why so many people are fixated on selling the company ASAP. If Dr. H is correct this can quite possibily be a lot more than 10 million ounces, just like KNT over in PNG will be. In a couple of years KNT will be producing 300,000 ounces a year with a huge resource number, thank God it appears they want to keep it as an independent company, as opposed to selling out for pennies ...more

yes,it's a long process but people on the venture are impatient and it's the tax period;this could be huge.
Comment by forwardflash on Apr 22, 2021 12:29pm
If that is meant for me you made a very big reach.  FYI, Selling properties is in Walter Berukoff resume, I don't know how that can not be considered, quick sell I never remotely suggested anything like that. And I'm not advocating anything other than expanding the resouce keep on drilling, adding Oz to the resource.

Finally! …..gathering people fit for the job of moving this outfit forward. Hope that the stagnation period is over & LIO will get recognized for its huge potential. Came very close to selling my few shares but since I went through a similar adventure with KNT that operates in PNG (similar neighborhood) I decided to give this outfit one more run. Potential here is just too monumental to miss.  ...more

Despite all the whining about Wally he has done this before & has shown that he maximizes  shareholder returns. He will sell this company for a high valuation at the right time. If you don't want to wait, sell. Simple.
