Compensation vs Profit The investor voting information I received for LIX indicates some difficult realities to swallow as an investor:
- The company is not profitable.
- The Executive Chairman, CEO and CFO were given double their salary from 2016 to 2017.
- The Executive Chairman, CEO were given $360,000 in bonuses each.
- Many of the directors were given large amounts of stock options, 4 of them over 200,000 in options.
- They are asking to grant 600,000 shares to certain consultants and employees.
- They are asking to grant an ongoing RSU plan and an ongoing stock option plan.
- The company is posting a loss???
Don't get me wrong. I support this company. It just irks me when a company is losing money and giving their top brass big pay raises and bonuses and stock options and shares. I hope their management decides to wise up soon. Compensation is earned via results = profit
