RE:Crazy PricesI couldn't agree more. I prefer being in situations where the perception of potential sucess (based on news) moves the share price progressively higher. But sometimes this happens, the rubber band keeps geting stretched and than one it pops on significant news. 

The risk to reward, $0 on zero success, versus $0.50+ on significant discovery news, is a good and hard to resist risk to reward ratio. 

Of course someone could wait for 'day-of' news, but unless you sit in front of a computer all day, it will be difficult to capture the early gain, which can be significant.
