However, I believe your post understates the significance of DRA's work, as well as why they want to keep it under wraps.

Although initially, when they were first mentioned, it was in connection with monetarizing the stockpile as you suggest, it is very clear from things that Roger posted some weeks back that their role has been greatly expanded beyond that. For sure, the stockpile is not of big significance. However, DRA's expanded role relates to the property as a whole and, I believe, is a vital part of LME's efforts to justify a high buyout price. They do, in fact, have a reason to withhold that info that relates to their whole BO strategy.
