DAM$ - your people need you! What's next?

@Dam$, I know the forums lately have been a lot of hearsay and speculation, but would love to hear your always articulate and educated thoughts? Are you still as confident as you always were? What do you think the order of operations in terms of rollout/net steps will be?

IMO it would be completing the above-grade stockpile study with DRA to determine a monetary value there, coupled with the 4 years of assay results in the data room, this would give an over-arching value of proven resource on the property.

Then the question would be if they can’t sell based on the above figures. Do they start trying to monetize the stockpile themselves, or do they go back and drill in successful holes/zones as mentioned before?

Not DAM$, but unless "the big news" comes soon, I imagine the DRA assessment is the short term news we are waiting for.  Previous speculations have estimated that the DRA assement will be complete some time this month.  Who knows if the assessment will be released or if it will have influence on the stock price.

I really don't think so, Wizzle.  I don't think that the results of the DRA assessment will be released. Remember what Roger wrote recently about not releasing stuff like that pre-buyout? I think that the DRA assessment is strictly a tool to be used internally to justify getting the high buyout price LME wants.

I think Matlas hit the nail on the head with this one. There were a lot of rumours swirling around the last AGM about a BO. This is obviously pure speculation, and it has been mentioned here before, LME is now in a "prove it" scenario. I think there is one (or possibly more) suitors looking to make an aquisition and I am hopefuly that once the DRA study is complete it is enough to close ...more

Nothing has changed really. Its a waiting game no need to over think things with no material change.

Not DAM$, but as there isn't much going on, I don't see what there is for im to comment on. I did notice you questioned him a few times. Back on October 5th, you asked him about the 10M GEO's being proven which he explained was potential. Then,  you called him out in February, when you said you told your Bay St. friend about the 10M proven GEO's as claimed by DAM$ post. Now ...more

No need to gaslight Detective Scuttlebutt. In October I asked if there was anything released directly from LME that stated 10 GEO’s, and DAM$ was kind enough to showcase where the potential was stated in writing. I did not call him out in Feb, I outlined that my Bay street friend noticed there was no mentioned of 10 GEO’s in the corporate presentation, so I directed him to $DAM’s post ...more

Man, no need for the hostility. It's been publicly stated via roger that Lme will not disclose resource estimates. You will not get anything official from anyone here. That would be insider only information. We all have all the info we will get unless there's an official press release. Be happy your in Lme, sit on your hands and wait like everyone else.

Agree, no need for beating up on each other, we all want the same thing. Sounds like impatience and frustrations leaking through.  That said here are a couple observations I have previously mentioned.  There is no reason to withhold info OR to release it. Again us retail investors are irrelevant when it comes to a buyout.  Case in point...the DRA assessment of the stockpile. Even ...more

Right on ilovexau-the natives are getting restless and need to calm down! However, I believe your post understates the significance of DRA's work, as well as why they want to keep it under wraps. Although initially, when they were first mentioned, it was in connection with monetarizing the stockpile as you suggest, it is very clear from things that Roger posted some weeks back that their ...more

Hi everyone, I have been basically quiet because I still feel the sale is imminent and all we can do is wait for it. But as some seem to want to know what I think here are my thoughts. Pure speculation based on my reading and assumptions. I appreciate the attitude that my opinion matters, as undeserved as that is, but I don’t disagree with Tuscany, as I felt I was being blamed or called out for ...more

A couple of comments/observations I've made... Looking back over the last few years, the months of Jan-Apr have always been a slow time of rolling out PR's for Laurion.  This is not uncommon for them. As for a deal, Laurion will have to make a deal with the suitor, as well as the suitor will more than likely have to make another deal with whomever they are financing this thing with. ...more

This sounds like more drilling will be taking place before a buyout.  "there is still the depth and width extents not validated,  and so much "blue sky" to be defined, explored, and developed, and thus we do not think it is in the interest of the shareholders or the company at this time to complete a NI 43-101," But I agree with you DAM$ and hope a sale is announced ...more
