RE:Water Sample Results - Dewatering Shaft

RE:Water Sample Results - Dewatering ShaftCopy/Paste from separate thread that answered this.

Hello all!

Water studies should be viewed in 2 categories : Ground and Shaft.

The ground studies have been conducted monthly on the Ishkoday for almost a decade.  The reason for them is to ensure that none of the work has ANY envrinonmental impact on the property with a specific focus on the river.  There has never been any indication from these studies that the work done by the Laurion team has impacted the water in any meaningful negative way.

The water study on the shaft was to figure out what needed to be done with the water once it was removed from the previously mined shafts before that water could rejoin the natural water source on the Ishkoday.  What would normally come up from this type of study would be increased iron and that makes sense.  The danger that is looked for the most is mercury and arsenic.  There were no indications from the water study on the shafts of anything dangerous.  The water will still have to be treated as it's drained but the outcome was very much normal.

Nothing of concern from either the ground or shaft water studies has been evidenced to date.

Hope that helps,

Steve
