RE:Press Release Jan/23 Just going back over the assay results would give you a clue of what is in the Open Pit mine. Research would give you an idea of what is a good result. GBR's cutoff g/ton is 0.5 g/t so with that in mind here are the results from the assays I looked up.
Oct 25/2022
LAURION Intersects 2.55 Metres at 2.50 g/t Gold
Oct 18/2022
Intersecting up 5.77 g/t Gold
Aug 21/2022
Intersecting up to 2.79 g/t Au
May 31/2022
INTERSECTS 2.44 G/T AU
Yes there are lower g/t results but EVERY HOLE was mineralized.
Also bear in mind that when they guesstimated 10,000,000 ounces in the 1 x 3 km target zone now 6 x 2 1/2 km( 5 times larger) they said that it was a rich zone where they expected 2.5 g/t (greater than the average mine). They expected 40-50 million gold producing tons in the 1x3 km area. A 1x3 km area 250 m deep contains 750 million tons at approximately 1.5 t/sq metre. If the additional 12 sq km of the expanded zone only has 1 g/t it is an additional 16 million ozs. (Hope my math is correct this time)
I think they have a bit of gold endowment. Probably enough to justify an open pit mine.
Enough thinking for the time being.
