Pay very close attention to what's going on in Russia.  

a deposed / dead Putin COULD end Western trade restrictions with Russia.   In the meantime, the Russian markets are unlikely to even be open on Monday and reports are that Putin is on the run.  

consequences that matter to us:
 

1. People will stop being killed in a pointless war
2. uncertainty and instability of a major economy will drive gold prices up, maybe considerably 
3. IF (big IF) the next government in Russia plays nice and trade with the West resumes an incredible Amount of capital re-enters global markets and that includes massive private equity.  
4. that capital will want out of Russia as fast as it can do so in as big chunks as possible.  Maybe a few billion to buy a stable North American good property?

good news for humanity, COULD be VERY good news for LME.

I am sure that long before that could ever happern, LME will be bought out by someone who is already in the wings and a lot closer to home than Russia!
