Market Maker Question

Hello Steve,

I was wondering if you could help me understand Market Makers and thir functions a litle better. I understand Market Makers are in place to provide liquidity and stability to the market but that is about the depth of my understanding of them. Lately, someone seems to be adding liquidity whenever we see moves that meet or exceed roughly 5% of the SP. Can you provide insight into why this might be?

Does Laurion or anyone directly involved with Laurion interact with Markert Makers/Brokerage houses directly? If so, in what capacity?

Thank you!

Very interested to know as well.  Keep seeing walls pop up

Hello all! Integral will provide liquidity for sure but the mandate is more about trying to make the ride up and down a bit gentler.  In times of price change they've done a really good job of this.   This is all on relatively very low volume though.  When you see blocks and walls those are people, not the market maker.  Think more about the bids and/or asks at 500 ...more
