Poll: private equity or mining company?

Who is most likely to acquire LME, a private equity firm OR an actual mining company?

Hopefully it's a combination, mining Company would need more money, so they partner with a private equity.  Maybe that's why they a taking a while to finalize a deal.  Fingers crossed. TraderRC

The reason I asked and wanted to hear others opinions, is I was curious if a company like US Capital Global could be the buyer?? Or do they not buy companies? I feel like a mining company would have purchased already. I keep reading the PRs and thinking...has this been right under my nose?

I'm feeling as good as I ever have about LME after the AGM. Yes - it was annoying and almost funny that we were once again treated to technical problems - but I understand those of us who dialed in only missed procedural things - so it doesn't matter. Did you catch the comment Cynthia made in her presentation about the relationship between Metals House and US Capital Global?  She mentioned how UCG raised $150M in 2019. Why would she say this unless it was a critical piece to the puzzle?  I think that UCG is not only in the final stages of vetting a deal but has been behind the scenes raising capital for quite some time.
