V R I C & AME Roundup

Vancouver Resource Investment Conference and Association of Mineral Exploration
Runs from yesterday until Thursday

Don't know who they are meeting but this seems to be last minute as there was no anouncement of it anywhere. I won't pump any hopium but I am wondering who they are going to meet as they said last year that they were not attending the 2023 Toronto PDAC as they had already tooted their horns attending for many of the previous years.

Cynthia and her entire LAURION Mineral Exploration Inc. geological field team, accompanied by Elisabeth Ronacher, PhD, P.Geo. principal geologist and Jenna McKenzie, P.Geo. principal geophysicist of Ronacher McKenzie Geological Services, along with Jean-Philippe Paiement, principal of SGS Canada Inc. are making a special attendance at the 2024 VRIC and AME Roundup 2024 in Vancouver.

Interesting post DAM$,, if I may ask how did you come across this info that they will be there.  I had a quick look at the conference website and did not see any mention of Laurion. Steve, any info you are able to share with us about this conference and what Laurion's involvement there entails. Thanks in advance. TraderRC

News to me.  I'll ask.

I'm not familiar with this VRIC & AME round up.   What is the speculation here DAM?
Comment by DAM$ on Jan 23, 2024 8:51am
That they are there to sign the largest mineral exploration acquisition in history.  I just found it interesting and the way we can speculate on the clothing that they wear in the pictures I figured others would find it interesting too.  But I hope my sarcastic guess comes true

It could be the Geoscience portion of the presentations at the AME Roundup. Jean-Phillipe is an innovator in AI applications to drilling and analyzing the data. The team could be there for support and networking. He has developed multiple novel approaches to reduce interpretational risks of geological datasets. Jean-Philippe has pioneered the application of AI machine learning to the mineral ...more

The conference was over as of yesterday,  Dont want to put a damper on Dams outlook  maybe LME was there looking for investors and maybe there is no deal in place, and went last minute to show case LME .  I hope I'm wrong
Comment by DAM$ on Jan 23, 2024 10:00am
The AME Roundup runs until Thursday. Here's the link https://roundup.amebc.ca/ Although Jean-Phillipe is not listed as a speaker so my last idea doesn't playout.
Comment by HectorgoldAU on Jan 23, 2024 10:11am
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but this is basically confirmation the deal they were working on tanked. Three kinds of people go to these conferences juniors looking to impress a major (dime a dozen) industry relevent speakers doing workshops and keynotes (checkd both sites, no one from lme is involved) majors or other big fish lookin for a diamond in the rough Dams post says "special ...more

They are not there as Presenters,  and are not listed as an Exhibitor.  Are they really there? I think it is a positive that they are not listed as either. As per my previous post, DAM$, how did you come across info that the entire team is there. We will have to wait for Steve to weigh in with what he has found out on his end. TraderRC

Perhaps Dams was being sarcastically optimistic about this too? Investor relations Steve Should be aware of LME attendance even if it was "last minute "
Comment by HectorgoldAU on Jan 23, 2024 10:51am
Lol @ the amount of guessing. Full transparency! Lol one poster calims whole team goes to conference and days later we dont know if its even true. Yall excuse me while i put my clown face on.. im still part of this circus for some reason.
Comment by DAM$ on Jan 23, 2024 4:04pm
Hector, You can wear your clown face 24/7. What I posted was the entire geological field team was there which makes sense if they are there to see the VRIFY presentation. I stand by saying it's special as it was out of the blue and no one knew about it. Maybe LME partnering with VRIFY will be the next news release.  And dumping on the fact that they are attending because it is expensive ...more

Wow, well written!! I'm sure he's sorry he tangled with your facts!!
Comment by Golden7777 on Jan 23, 2024 10:52am
Exactly.  I am not sure if this is anything really considering Steve was unaware.  Not getting my hopes up.
Comment by Primpage on Jan 23, 2024 11:09am
If Steve wasn't aware and it's not on Cynthia's LinkedIn, it must have come from Roger's Facebook page.
Comment by Soldsign on Jan 23, 2024 11:26am
To believe the negative version, you would have to believe that Special Committee no longer operating and USCG no longer retained and should be refunding $250k . Since no hint of that, I will stay with my optimistic spin
Comment by HectorgoldAU on Jan 23, 2024 11:41am
LOL theres no hint to contrary either (i get they wont announce a deal til its done but aside from hopium theres not much to be positive about) to recap -timelines of other similar deals post buy asineg are well passed -no run up in price on leaks and rumours (idgaf what you think, price will ricket as fandf find out before all of us, thats priviledge) -steves leaving for something else, i no he ...more

Long Term Shareholder here - invested since late 2019. I see the Up's & Down's from everyone's perspective but everything LME MGMT is doing is very bullish to me. I agree the SP today doesn't reflect the value that could be realized.  Lets look at what's happened in the past year.  1. They bring in DRA Global and appoint Vikram to the Technical Advisory Board ...more

Jean-Phillipe was at the show with his new company VRIFY which had booth 916 at the VRIC
Comment by Bracko on Jan 23, 2024 2:27pm
Went onto VRIFY website no information about LME on there site  has a lot of other mining companies and juniors  that they have worked with but no LME If I'm wrong please correct me why it's not posted on there site that they have been working with LME
Comment by Lambosntendies on Jan 23, 2024 2:47pm
Jean-phillippe Paiement took on the role of Director of Ai and targeting at VRIFY late last year (as per his LinkedIn). While laurion is not listed as a client on the VRIFY site there has been discussion that AI is being used to some degree on the ishkoday so it stands to reason Jean-Philippe is doing AI modelling on the ishkoday.
Comment by Thebluestroy on Jan 23, 2024 11:07am
who knows....Either way, the SP is now heading south again. Nothing matters here until they put out a PR that theyve disposed. Nothing helps the day to day SP here so until then there really isnt any point in speculating.
