No Year End Unit Special Distribution

No Year End Unit Special DistributionThis is the second year in a row that LREIT has not handed out a Special Distribution in the form of units which are instantly consolidated so unitholders have the exact same number of units as they did before. This was a trick which LREIT started doing quite a few years ago in order to transfer their tax burden to the unitholders. Several other REITs started doing this in the past couple of years but this year I haven't seen any REITs do it, so maybe the taxman closed the loophole.
