CEO Change
Anyone have any thoughts on Mr Ivan Fairhall stepping down as CEO and Ms Noora Ahola stepping up as interim CEO. Was this anticipated?

I don't think it was expected. My hunch is that Mr. Fairhall, based out of London, was getting tired of the commute/travel since the corportate office is in Canada and the flagship project is in Finland. Travel can burn most people out real fast!! He leaves his mark however: MAW cranked out its maiden PEA under his watch.

That makes sense on the travel. The company keeps moving forward. I hope Mawson's share of Southern Cross isn't diluted too much as we go.

I think MAW will use their Southern Cross shares as a defacto piggy bank to push their Nordic assets forward without having to resort to onerous dilution. I would've preferred that we got the shares via a spinout, but the belief is that retail would sell too many shares too fast and that would hinder Southern Cross from establishing itself.

I preferred to have the shares too. The quality of gold is terrific in spots there. Hopefully there is enough overall to begin producing in the near future to be that piggy bank.
