Supplementary Revenues...
Supplementary Revenues...Supplementary Revenues From the B2B e-Commerce Portal Model
In addition to the revenue that it generates from the direct sale and support of its ERP products, the Company's business portal has the opportunity to generate ancillary revenues from business partners that wish to sell companion products and services to the Data.com business portal's captured base of users.
Companion products could be sold directly to the Data.com customer's business, to its employees or even to its customers.
B2B industry forecasters suggest that within the B2B Internet model, this ancillary revenue may well surpass the revenue realized from the direct sale of vertical products and services to the customer.
A primary advantage that the Company will have is that it will naturally capture a group of potential buyers through the sale of its proprietary ERP products and services. Unlike those B2B companies that do not have a proprietary product to sell, the Company can truly regard these ancillary sales as incremental.
Within its current Business Plan, the Company is conservatively projecting that less than 12 percent of its sales will be generated through the incremental sales of partnership products and services through its business portals. But the Company recognizes that these incremental revenues can be extremely significant and, as explained within this Plan, the Company intends to devote the required focused attention to this segment of its business to maximize its potential.
