No it's one of the smarter things to expect. The fact that you call is stupid just shows you have not much experience trading TSX Venture stocks. These things only have maybe 3 or 4 news releases a year on average plus the 4 quarters of financials. SCG is actually above average when it comes to news.
So the rest of the time gets filled in by trading sectors. Did you not see the Graphite stocks last year? EVERY single one of them skied, even the ones that hadn't released news in months. Then in 2011 we saw INT make the likes of SCG, FSW, PYN and several others all skyrocket and almost all of them fell just the same with the exception of ISD and even that is over 50% down from its highs a while back.
You say pumper as if that's a bad thing. Well reality is that pumps are the basis of the TSX Venture trading and you ignore them at your own peril. If you can't beat them, join them.
