Blitzscaling in Mining Sector

Dr. Simon Dorling, Mr. O'Brien and Mr. MacKenzie (aka "Pirates") - I recommend you look into reading a book on "Blitzscaling : the lightning-fast path to creating massively valuable businesses" endorsed by Bill Gates. There is an inexpensive Kindle version on Amazon.ca.

Also, there was a ZeroHedge article on Bill Gates next technological vision which is ... drum roll ... AI. AI being data analytics/science, machine learning and IoT to mention a few. Same approach Ivanhoe Electric is using in exploring Saudi Arabia's country.

Here is some information sourced from a Northern Miner article recently posted:

Regarding mining innovation, Breakthrough Energy has a strong interest in accelerating the process from mineral discovery to production.

“We bring a bunch of new technologies together and experts from the industry to increase the hit rate by five times on discoveries to get dramatically more of these metals online. We aim to find innovative ways to compress that development timescale,” Danielson said.

Meanwhile, BHP Xplor VP Sonia Scarcelli said she had noticed an uptick in talent transferring from Silicon Valley to Toronto’s Bay Street. She administers BHP’s (NYSE: BHP; LSE: BHP; ASX: BHP) junior accelerator program, which looks at companies at any stage along the value curve.

And for all the ostensibly high-tech end-uses of mining products, a fresh look by Silicon Valley talent is giving mining research and development a shot in the arm [about f'ing time]  and finding new economic uses for metals.

“We invest in early-stage concepts and ideas to work on the very front end of the value chain of the resources,” Scarcelli says.

The accelerator program aims to get in early on exploration concepts and ideas globally, partnering with the companies and bringing its in-house know-how and new geological thinking. “We’re investing in commercializing these opportunities, looking at how we can accelerate the exploration phase. We can squeeze that – instead of five to 10 years – down to maybe a couple of years,” Scarcelli said.

I suggest you starting expediting you exploration program or get run over by companies embrassing this new approach. BHP and Ivanhoe Electric are visionaries in Blitzscaling exploration and mining techniques and technology. Are you?

Here is another rule from my career governing paradigm used in my PROFESSIONAL career in the high tech sector doing product development and information, modelling:

"Think in the absence of a box. Everyrthing inside, oustide and on the edge of the box can be utilized to solve problems and develop systems (i.e. technology, business, mineral exploration & extraction)".

There maybe some hacks on SH that may debate my "blue flame" professional career. I would discount them as paint by numbers artists.
