Inflation

Inflation   I remember in the 70`s how inflation started and people took little notice because things were booming and the world was drunk on a new thing . Credit and lots of it .  Then inflation started to take hold and really got going . There was panic . Mortgages went up to near 20% and the governments finally brought in wage and price controls . I would expect this time to be much worse . Back then government debt was tiny by comparison . There was nothing to compare to the debt individuals carry now . And modern politicians have no backbone . This will end very badly .
The start up of the new mill is perfect timing . It will be churning out very valuable gold . As back in the 70`s , gold will be the only investment option and the prices for miners will go to the moon .
I am stumped why MMY leaves a new mill sitting idle in the outback . What ever happened to the jv with ODY to use the Murchison plant .?  Back in the late 70`s and 80`s Rob McEwen took the defunct Red Lake mine and restarted it under new management . He had to break the union and fire the ring leaders . He restarted 2 years later with a skeleton crew then he piled dore bars at the mill till the price of gold went goofy .  For a long time after it was the world`s most successful gold miner .  That`s what we should be doing .Not breaking unions but doing what needs to be done . Back then we had leaders .
