The market in paper gold that we see as the quoted daily price is so shady that the average person has no idea that it means . 4 big investment banks have created their own industry of naked gold shorting and they seem to be untouchable . The whole thing is fixed and the majority of gold miner investors have no clue . I check quotes from 3 sources . Yahoo Finance , KitCo and TD Bank and sometimes CIBC . The quotes mean little . In a day the can be $30 US difference between these company`s reports . Imagine if that happened with the US dollar .
Our CEO , who is one tight fisted lady is negotiating the cost we are going to get for our concentrates . I have noticed over the past few years when MMY reports earnings the price that we recieved is always substantially higher then the paper average would have been for the same period , if you follow me . I always couldn`t figure this out but now I know . The deals are complicated , You are dealing in several currencies that are on the move yet you have to leave enough room that the buyer can make a profit too . This isn`t easy but it seems Cathy is able to squeeze every penny out in favour of MMY . Just like with the flotation plant . And yet can you believe there are several here who want her gone . If she hadn`t run this show through Covid we would have nothing by now and some crook would own the whole works . Just sayin`
