Notice and Record Date for AGM

Notice and Record Date for AGM

In 2020, the annuals were announced on Sept 15, the Notice of the AGM meeting was published on Sedar Sept 17 at which time the record date was set at Sept 28 for the AGM to be held on October 28/20.
Note the violations of the minimum time , especially just 11 days instead of 25 days as required.
As we were tasseling with management at that time, it's not unlikely that the short timing was deliberate.

So, this being Sept 18, we are behind last years issuance timings.
If extended, this delay may be significant ..

A minimum of 55 days is required from the time you give notice until the time of the AGM meeting. A Record Date must be set 30 to 50 days prior to the meeting and Notice must be given a minimum of 25 days notice prior to Record Date. Ideally you should allow 60 days in order to plan for the number of sets of proxy materials required.
