Reverse split = smart A small copper mining company I follow, Trigon Metals, has about 300M shares. They are probably going to be nicely profitable by the end of 2024. In order to attract the right kind of investors, they have decided to do a 5:1 reverse split. That will get their share count down to 60M and get their stock price up near $1.
Monument needs to do the same thing if they really plan to be profitable. Self-respecting investors avoid small mining stocks with a bloated share count and a sub $.50 stock price. If this company wants to attract smart investors, it needs to show the market it is a serious player. 15 cents does not say you are serious.
