All real issues - both pro and con - have value...I think we're all big enough people to have a real discussion about this play...Let me start with probably the most pressing question: Will the Manganese X Energy grades be high enough vis a vis the new needs for manganese?
Pro
- The grades look to be pretty high for a North America that doesn't have any deposits.
- Security of supply for the battery industry is important
- A whole lot of manganese is needed for new battery technology
- EMD (Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide) needs good quality manganese.
- South Africa's manganese isn't good for batteries.
- China is holding onto their manganese.
- Australia's manganese is a long way away.
- Like blood diamonds, the ethics of manganese production play a part in its sourcing.
- Cobalt is ten times the price of manganese - and is a by-product of nickel and copper production - meaning that it's production cannot be upped at will.
- Minco PLC (on the London AIM Exchange) has a huge mkt cap - and just had a postive economic assessment on their PEA of their Woodstock, NB, Electrolytic Manganese Metal project.

New technologies are getting waaaay better re manganese production.
Con
The grades are much greater on other continents.
How much manganese is really needed for new battery technology?
Supply is there.
Cobalt has it covered.
Folks, let's have a real discussion on this bullboard. I am a shareholder and I make no bones about it - I am pro MN...But yeah, there are always cons to everything...Let's try to discuss both sides of any issue in an intellectually honest manner.
Cheers.
