Major News: loss at U.S. Court of Federal Claims

From press release of 2 days ago:

Protest filed with the U.S. Court of Federal Claims (“
COFC ”), on October 6, 2020, Unifire filed a Notice of Appeal of the COFC’s judgement in response to a September 24, 2020 decision by the COFC denying Unifire’s challenge of the exclusion of its proposal from the competition.

==============================================================

For investors who are not aware, this is the 10 year $ 33 billion contract on which Unifire was bidding on.

Unifire LOST its cases in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.

They have appealed this decision, but very few, win.

I do not understand why this MATERIAL NEWS was not released on September 24, 2020?

Secondly the press release does not mention the $ 33 billion contract, which is material and investors should know without having to guess.

Without this major contract, it is very difficult to survive in this market.

For this year, covid19 may have given them a break, but going into the future it will be very difficult to repeat as they are out of the BIGGEST CONTRACT to bid on.

I think investors have not realized this as of yet.

You are correct, not accurate at all.  There has been 4 cases only that have gone to this level of appeal (with 1 more level if required).  Of the 4, 3 were overturned.  A win rate of 75%.  Since 2007, the win rate is 71%.   https://ballotpedia.org/SCOTUS_case_reversal_rates_(2007_-_Present)   Refer to the "Federal Circuit".
