"Mike made considerable contributions to Martello during his Board tenure", said Terence Matthews, Chairman of Martello. "In addition to meaningful involvement as a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees, Mike was instrumental in shaping the technology strategy as the Company moved into the Microsoft Teams experience management market and launched Vantage DX."

Maybe it is product related. I actually looked at the definition of a "contribution".  It is what I thought it is so I don't understand what I am missing.
