So, what you are saying is that they are in the right place at the right time.  ;-) What's the problem then?  Quality of the product is poor? Management doesn't know how to capitalize?  Sales people including Microsoft's don't know how to sell it?  Or all of the above which leaves its shareholders hopeless because it amounts to needing to start everything from ...more

We shall see who the new CEO will be.  No offense to the successful tech execs from late 1990's and early 2000's but it is much different and faster tech world today.  So, if we get someone north of mid-40s, I won't be too excited. By the way, I am basically looking for something to give us some hope.  Martello is silent, can't even muster some partnership or bigger client acquisition or sale announcement.  The results are so poor that one could make a case that any news is material.   Pretty well needs a significant management and board overhaul. TM and his advisory crew are best to just write checks ...more

First, there are some generally recognized leadership qualities that can apply in many situations but I also believe the next CEO would also require to have some prior successful experience in the high-tech software business.  This is where I would fall short.
