Primary Symbol: MXI

The fund seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of global equities in the materials sector. The fund seeks to track the investment results of the S&P Global 1200 Materials Index (the Underlying Index), which measures the performance of companies that S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC (SPDJI), a subsidiary of S&P Global, Inc., deems to be part of the materials sector of the economy and that SPDJI believes are important to global markets. It is a subset of the S&P Global 1200.

RE:tempted -I expect it will be plenty ugly over there at IMG next week.  I will be watching for cash burn.

You are right that a material hit on IMG does introduce an new risk factor for MXI.  I think it will have to be bad enough though to bring IMG's long term viability into question before it will affect MXI much.  That means sub $1000 gold that looks to hang around for awhile.

Drill results will probably have more impact on MXI though.  We don't know when we will see the next batch but it has to be very soon as they are about due or overdue.  "More of the same" should shore up share price.

Personally, I was adding in the low .20's and my thesis on MXI remains unchanged so I took advantage of these low prices this week and added about 4% to my holdings, which is a fair bit of buying.  The overall market sentiment remains really ugly and I suppose that's the time to buy, especially when you are convinced you have an excellent asset under development.
