The fund seeks to track the investment results of an index composed of global equities in the materials sector. The fund seeks to track the investment results of the S&P Global 1200 Materials Index (the Underlying Index), which measures the performance of companies that S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC (SPDJI), a subsidiary of S&P Global, Inc., deems to be part of the materials sector of the economy and that SPDJI believes are important to global markets. It is a subset of the S&P Global 1200.

IAMGOLDAs IMG goes, MXI will follow...at least at this point.  When was the last time IMG posted some really good news other than drill results?  At this time three years ago, IMG came off of $10 per share. Five years ago it was above $20 per share...and what it has done I suppose is really tracked the price of gold.

I guess what I'm saying is that a LOT of "negative'" has been priced into the stock.  A positive news release and let's hope a rally in the price of gold, even a modest one, could move the stock price substantially.  Throw in a portion of fear, unrest, war, turmoil, and who knows what could happen.
