However, i don't believe anyone is trying to keep the SP down. There's just no volume to justify this rationale. It's just that other big MJ companies are failing and investors are getting shy putting their money in small caps.
I heard that the Illuminati were heavily shorting NDVA in an effort to raise funds to continue their search for the Holy Grail. But seriously, don't waste your time trying to educate old Dust Pan. He doesn't understand investing, market trends or the cannabis sector. He takes what he hears from the talking heads on BNN as gospel without doing his own due diligence. When things don't work out he says its because of the shorts, market manipulation or posters here on Stockhouse influencing the market. Most have put him on ignore. I watch him with amusement and consider him another Rudy Giuliani on Stockhouse, constantly embarrassing himself in public view.
The fact is that the cannabis sector as a whole is out of favour with investors. All Canadian companies and US MSOs are setting new 52-week lows on a daily basis. There needs to be a positive industry catalyst to alter current sentiments before this trend will change. It will probably come out of the US in the form of passage of the SAFE Banking Act, change in IRS Tax Code 280E, or decriminalization or legalization at the US Federal level. In the interim the cannabis sector is dead money. There are a lot of great cannabis companies out there that are doing well but unfortunately this is not reflected in their current stock prices.
