The cumulative value of my own "newfie cluster" (NFG-SIC-LAB) has closed the ground on my main holding this year, moving from about about 20% of the value, to about 80% of the value of that holding.
Naturally, I have the occasional thought about how I could have doubled or tripled the size of that "cluster" (my #2,3,4 in holdings value), but I didn't, and it was because I had enough on that gambling table as it was, (there was no guarantee on how the drill programs would play out, only possibilities, probabilities, and hopes), whereas my prime asset was already proving great cash flow, net profits, and in the process of expanding it's operations very meaningfully.
Besides, the amazing performance of the "newfie cluster" has helped to balance out my portfolio.
