RE:Coarse grained gold

RE:Coarse grained goldQuestion for you Retiredgeo - The nr states that in Hole201 there was a hit of 683 g over 2.45m.  Then they widen the interval to 11.5 m, with a grade of 150.3 g/t.  Do they just arbitrarily pick 11.5 m and average that 683 g over that width?  In other words, is there any gold at all outside of that 2.45m where the 'nugget' was?  Like was there anything else special within that 11.5m?

150.3 g/t Au over 11.5m is, for sure, a flashy headline, but is the truth of the matter that they hit 683 g/t over 2.45m, and that's the end of the story?  (not that that's bad, by any means!  But it is more true).
